I wanted to get this week's edition of the Crystal Ball in before another crazy/busy weekend gets in full gear. Last week was a solid performance as all of our Game Predictions came true. We are now 5-2 in Upsets of the Week...which is pretty impressive indeed.
Now let's get to the picks...
Game of the Week: Monday Night -- San Fran 23 Arizona 20 -- the 49ers take control of the NFC West. (YTD Record - 4-3)
Lock of the Week: Green Bay 38 Jacksonville 13 -- the Packers are hitting their stride & the Jags are a mess. (YTD Record - 5-2)
Upset of the Week: Miami 20 NY Jets 17 -- Miami coming off a bye & playing solid football. The Jets coming off a heartbreaking loss to New England. I believe the 2 1/2 pt underdog Dolphins get it done on the road.
Fantasy Stud of the Week: Peyton Manning (against a bad Saints D)
Fantasy Dud of the Week: RGIII (just a feeling that Pittsburgh shuts him down this week)
Fantasy Sleeper of the Week: Reggie Bush...has a good recent history vs. the Jets

Agree with everything you picked except RGIII. I actually mention Manning as the stud of the week in my post.

ReplyDeleteI got most of these right this week...Reggie Bush didn't do as well as I expected. RGIII was indeed a bust by his standards. For some reason, I thought the Steelers would give him trouble...maybe it was those ugly uniforms. :)
My Upset Picks are now 6-2...not too shabby.
We'll see if the 49ers get it done tonight...
